M. Elizabeth (Liza) Fields

Liza mediates family matters such as divorce, separation, custody planning, property division, and child and spousal support. Her educational background in clinical psychology gave her extensive experience working with families in crisis and informs her work as a mediator. Liza’s goal is to help her clients achieve healthy, constructive, solution-focused communication that will lead to realistic, mutually acceptable, and long-lasting plans for their futures after divorce. She established Fields Family Mediation, LLC, in 2015. FFM is based in Charlottesville and Albemarle County, but all services are now provided via videoconference. Clients from anywhere in Virginia are welcome to mediate with FFM.
